Origin and founding
The history of our temple is rooted in ancient glory and spiritual heritage. The temple is known as Kyoto Temple and there are legends and stories about the origin of the temple. According to this legend, centuries ago this area was inhabited by people suffering from plague and hardship. One day, a monk headed into the mountains and encountered a moving event in the quiet forest. A monk discovered a mysterious place where beautiful flowers were blooming and birds were singing and chirping. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, and I felt peace of mind. The monks recognized this place as sacred and thought they should share this blessing with others. After that, worship as a temple officially began in 1500.

Buddha statue
